I am going to have to make some changes to the blog.

I’m not sure exactly how I’m going to go about this just yet, but I need to disconnect my blog from my identity. I need to be anonymous, if you will.

I don’t want to stop writing. I’m a talented writer and my writing has helped so many people.

I don’t want to privatize my posts because so many of the thousands of visitors to my blog are able to access it because it is public.

I don’t want to censor. I don’t want to hide who I am. But I almost feel like I’m being forced to if I want to get where I want to be.

  1. hello,

i hope you find the option or options that work best for you. Privacy and sharing are both important but only as you feel safe and comfortable. Finding your own ebb and flow is important. Sl

  2. I LOVE the freedom of anonymity. You can’t possibly hurt anyone’s feelings. That’s one thing. And you don’t have to answer to anybody after the fact either. I can be who I truly am. Shed the skins… Go for it. Good luck!

  3. You do write well and it is a good idea to remain anonymous as it enables you to write without holding anything back. Absolutely nobody who has met me in real life knows where to find my blog, I tell some people that I blog but I won’t let them see it.

  4. I have this challenge with my writing, as well, a struggle with anonymity vs. putting my actual name to my words. I believe there is a place for both, and the decision about which way to go is a very personal one. A.
